聖誕節。北海道戚風 Christmas.Hokkaido Chiffon

21/12冬至那天，滿心期待公司會有湯圓吃，結果沒有，一直想要嘗湯圓的味蕾落了個空，那股不甘心一直沒有個了結。

繁重的業務、新產品頻密的測試，終於在老外的新年期間來個小小的落幕，盼到了4天假期，還記得上司問我假期到哪兒玩去，我毫無思索的說了一句我只想睡覺。是的，我好想睡覺，睡個夠，讓那每天清晨不捨得卻強制挪出被窩的身體睡到自然醒。

醒了，當然先過冬至，再過聖誕；先解鄉之愁，再來普天同慶。

昨天過了冬，今天，聖誕老人把北海道戚風送來了 ^ ^

冬至一到，特別想吃湯圓，尤其是在英國冷冷的天氣裡，一碗熱騰騰的湯圓更顯溫暖，解思鄉之愁。

朋友們都說，吃湯圓何等容易，唐人超市就有的賣。我不想買，我想自己搓，自己煮糖水，想吃多少就有多少。雖然一大清早離開了溫暖的被窩不是我願，而然，有一碗熱騰騰的湯圓糖水穿梭身體的細胞時，那一刻，我真的覺得好幸福。

冬至吃湯圓，是一種滿足。

終於趕完了朋友的訂單，剩下了一些奶油霜和蛋黃。

正合我心意，之前因為想做虎皮蛋糕卷，卻因為需要很多的蛋黃而放棄了，而天時地利人和，眼前的情況，幾乎全部條件都符合了，奶油霜也不用打了，只要輕輕鬆松把蛋糕體和虎皮烤出來就好。

Tinker Bell Fondant Fairy Cake & Cupcakes 花仙子翻糖蛋糕&杯子蛋糕

From the day my friend asked my favor to do a fairy cake for her daughter's birthday celebration, I hesitated if I able to make it. Though there was hesitation, nut my passion drove me to accept the challenge.

I started google info and looked for ingredients and decor thingy since then, it took around 3 weeks. Undeniable there was an unseenable pressure along the preparation, however, putting myself in a shoe of a little girl to imagine how excited she could have a tinker bell birthday cake was encouraging me.

1st Trial of Fondant Cake~Fairy Fondant

My friend ask my favor to do her a fairy cake for her daughter 4 year-old birthday in December.

I didn't come thru to complete a whole fondant cake by myself before, but i would like to take up this challenge, simply because of my passion in baking.

This is a demo version (but eatable) just to present to my friend before the real one coming.
