Matcha "Pineapple" Buns 抹茶菠蘿包



The weekend that need not to bury me into study text! How relaxing it is after the completed exam.

Is time for me to challenge something new in bread baking. I miss the HongKong food always, especially the traditional breakfast, simple as a "pineapple bun", or egg tart, or "cocktail bun", or french toast, and a cup of hot milk tea....oh, that's really my favorite.

Black Sesame Peanut Cream ~ Mini Birthday Cake



Finished my exam with grade merit, couldn't believe I get it, my first qualification in UK - Professional Banker Certificate. It was an excitement when the result came to my knowledge.

Firstly text to still alive to know her results, glad to hear that we have passed our exam respectively. Subsequently relay the news to Qad, mom & sis, all seniors and friends that caring about me.

香蕉杏仁馬芬 Banana Almond Muffins



兩個星期前才突然間定下來要考試的日子,有人會好奇為什麼這麼衝動著急非得要做先鋒不可。在我的角度裡,我想在九月放假之前考試;若在八月以後考,考試的範圍增加好多新元素;目前脫歐的局勢大大對英國有影響,誰曉得現在的歐盟條例,在哪一天不能使用了,把全書改寫。

既然鄙人已經開始溫習,不想抱著三天打魚兩天曬網的態度,於是狠心把日子定下,認真的應付考試。

巧克力香蕉馬芬 Chocolate Banana Muffins

又是高溫的一天,飆到30度的氣候,我怎麼也感覺不到在馬來西亞的熱曬雨林。把風衣留在家裡,保暖襪也不穿了,披著夏天布質的連身裙,就這樣的出門了。。。

若在馬來西亞,在這樣炎熱的天氣下,我身上一定少不了長袖衣,陽傘和墨鏡。單純的因為我怕被曬黑,必須把自己裹得好好的。
在這裡,大熱天下,穿長袖、打傘會被人取笑的,習慣的都用不上,難怪此刻氣候媲美吉隆坡的倫敦,我依然找不到那股炎夏的熟悉感。

一口乳酪麵包 One-Mouth-Bite Cheese Buns


25度,好天氣,英國人都紛紛出來曬太陽了。
我喜歡溫暖的天氣,不喜歡曬太陽,出門時還是把自己裹在長袖衣裡,還是把那幅老套的太陽眼鏡掛在臉上。
在附近的公園快走了幾圈,看見藍天白雲、綠油草地,心情也會闊達開朗。這樣的天氣,也最適合烤麵包。

收藏了很久的食譜,今天終於滴起心肝,實實在在的把它給烤了出來。
依舊選用無蛋配方,成品#完美#!感謝格友們的分享。

Blueberries Chiffon 藍莓戚風蛋糕

Blueberries used to be expensive fruit in my country, it's not a cheap stuff here though. But, the consumable of it is compatible with salary, at least I won't feel heart pinch when I buy it.

I love blueberries well much, either fresh or blended in drinks or baking, sometimes I wonder why there's someone not fancy of such lovely crunchy fruit, I wonder hard.

To make it more acceptable in my house, I always make it one of my baking ingredients. This lovely blueberries chiffon recipe I found it from Carol.
Those who love blueberries should get it a try.

Black Sesame Roll


This black sesame roll simply for the idea of becoming husband's breakfast. He's good enough, always help to finish even is my failed baking, I felt sorry & sympathy for him. To make up my guilty, I decided to treat him better, by this roll.

By the time I rolled it, intuition told me to share it with someone I recently having treats from, senior Lucy. She brought us a lot of snacks from Shanghai China when she was having training there two weeks ago. I have had much of it~unstoppable, though high calories being buried in my body.

Eggless Black Forest with Cheese Frosting

Is the cherries season!

Well, I lost passion in baking recently, with no reason, my emotional telling me that I am not in baking mood since have back to London. I did bake too a few days ago, just quick baking for my husband's breakfast. Sometimes I feel quite odd of him, always require me to bake rather than buy the bread for breakfast, it is the way he used to encourage me to keep baking, I wonder.

Well, I'll be back, someday soonest, I perhaps.
